m.t. scott is an artist, musician and writer from the North of England. In addition to his solo work he is also one half of STAGGS. His work may be described as unconventional and uncompromising yet can be darkly surprising, exploring black humourous metafiction within subliminal experimentation.

Gultekin (Tekin) Irengun started playing drums at the age of five when his legs were hardly reaching the bass pedal. He co-founded HAZY HILL, one of the longest running and popular thrash metal bands in Turkey where he played drums after a short appearance on bass guitar. Continued with MINDVORTEX, a progressive speed metal band which was aired on National TV numerous times.
Tekin was also a singer and appeared in various cover bands singing Mr Big, Whitesnake, Thunder, Aerosmith and many more.
In 2002 Tekin left Turkey for UK and started playing drums again. He joined SUSAN ACID, a progressive industrial punk core band.
He worked with DAVE SHARMAN, the guitar virtuoso who was once ranked fifth in the world. He toured with BEN HEMMING, an Americana singer song writer. His last two years were with NUNCHUCKER before moving to Spain.
Tekin is currently dividing his time between London & South of Spain, making his own music and collaborating.

Hope is that Thing with Feathers
Nina Simon once said:
"When every day is a matter of survival I don’t think you can help but be involved.
Young people, Black and white, know this. That’s why they’re so involved in politics.
We will shape and mould this country, or it will not be moulded and shaped at all.
An artist’s duty, as far as I’m concerned, is to reflect the times … I choose to reflect the times and situations in which I find myself.”
